The Game Finishers

If you're reading this you probably have a similar addiction to me: Video Games. And more specifically, beating video games, totally demolishing them, searching every corner for every single collectible, replaying the same section a hundred times over trying to get an elusive secret that you don't even need just so you can say you've beaten the game 100%. Doing all the extra grinding just to get that Platinum trophy. Does this sound like you? Then you're in the right place! Read reviews of games written by people who have totally broken them wide open, get hints and tips on tricky sections, follow people's progress on The 52 Game Challenge. Need help? Head to the forums and ask, and the team will do their best to help you out. On top of that if you fancy yourself as a game finisher and think you have a knack for writing about it, then get in touch and request to join the team! Welcome to the Game Finishers, Game On!

Lucky Luke (GB) Beaten - all secrets.

Lucky Luke is a series I'd never really heard of until recently, in fact until I beat this and did some research to see what other games were available, I wasn't aware that it was based on a comic book! You play as Lucky Luke, a sheriff that looks peculiarly like Woody from Toy Story. At the beginning you find out that a tornado has ravaged a prison and loads of convicts are now on the run causing trouble all over your State! And it's your job to track them all down and put them back behind b...

Super Smash TV (SMS) Beaten

Smash TV, a series I've loved since I was a kid, but up until now one I've never beaten in single player mode! Let me set the scene before we get onto the game: It was 10am on a wet Sunday morning. I'd had about two hours sleep as I was working the night before, but the early wake up call was gonna be worth it, after all it was the one gaming event I look forward to every year, the Sega8Bit.com meet up! I hadn't touched an master System all year, even though I own a full set and love playing ...

Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue (PS1) beaten

Another game beaten already? Yep, that's right, this was a pretty short game compared to the last few I've tackled! Now, I've never been a huge fan of the Power Rangers on TV, I think I was about 4 years too old to get into them by the time it started, but I have enjoyed the few games that i've played through over the years. Don't get me wrong, they've never been groundbreaking A+ titles, but as a general rule they've been fun beat em up type games, just what I like! So when I spotted this in...

Lost Vikings 2 (PS1) beaten.

I bought this game ages ago after watching a friend of mine, Shockz16, do a gameplay of it on YouTube, but up until recently I never got round to playing it! I have a tendency to do that, buy games and shelve them, but nowadays I'm concentrating on playing through my collection rather than buying more games, and when I went to look for a new PS1 title to play this one jumped straight out at me. You take charge of 3 vikings who end up getting themselves in a time machine and getting lost, and ...

Site Updates

I've just finished the first of many planned site updates, so I thought I'd better tell you about them! First of all I've started off a new section, Game Guides, it's still very much in it's infancy but I've added 2 guides and have another 2 in the works, and plan to add them for each game I play through (if they're needed that is!). But don't leave all the hard work to me, if any of you guys feel like having a crack at writing a hints section or guide for a game you've just beaten, get in tou...

Crash Bandicoot (PS1) 100%

Posted by Gameboy Gospel on July 10, 2014 at 5:30 AM Comments comments (0)

So far in my 52 Game Challenge the majority of the games I've finished have been handheld games due to the fact that most of my spare time has been away from home, but recently that's been changing and I've started to dig in to my console game collection. I started by platinuming a few PS3 games, and was about to start another when I decided I fancied playing something from my retro collection. I went into my games room and searched through my games until something jumped out at me: Crash Ban...
